Waiting In The Wings (2012)

Oil on canvas, 16" x 20"

This painting is from a photo taken of me when I was performing in a play, backstage and waiting for my cue to enter.  I liked the intense contrast between light and dark, a modern take on chiaroscuro which a lot of people associate with Edward Hopper.  This piece received the 3rd Award of Excellence in Oils at the Nepean Fine Arts League Annual Members' Exhibition.

Hey there would you mind letting
me know which webhost you're working with? I've
loaded your blog in 3 different internet browsers and I
must say this blog loads a lot quicker then most.

Can you suggest a good web hosting provider at a reasonable
price? Thanks, I
appreciate it!

Woah! I'm really digging the template/theme of this blog.
It's simple, yet effective. A lot of times it's challenging to
get that "perfect balance" between superb usability and visual appearance.
I must say that you've done a fantastic job with this.

In addition, the blog loads very quick for me on Internet explorer.

Excellent Blog!
